Research that drives real-world results

At the e-lab, we don’t just study performance - we decode it.

The e-lab is the research arm of Dr Adam Fraser’s work, where we partner with leading universities to conduct rigorous, peer-reviewed studies that explore the hidden factors affecting human performance in the workplace.

Every e-lab project is a deep dive into a specific job role, team or industry. We uncover what’s getting in the way of people performing at their best, and more importantly, we identify the practical strategies that will help them thrive.

Our research doesn’t sit on a shelf. It forms the foundation for the programs and keynotes we deliver to organisations around the world - tailored solutions built on evidence, not opinion.

What makes the e-lab different?

  • Independent, peer-reviewed research with academic partners across the globe

  • In-depth studies tailored to the realities of today’s workplace, not generic best-practice

  • Real-world impact - every insight is translated into actionable tools that help individuals, teams and leaders perform better

Whether you’re looking to improve engagement, prevent burnout or boost your team’s adaptability, the e-lab gives us the data to solve the right problem with the right solution.

We have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and it is what drives us and our work.

  • The New Way of Working 2021

In February 2021, we surveyed over 400 people who worked in a mix of large, medium and small enterprise across Australia. The purpose of this survey was to review and reveal how people were managing with the dramatic changes in how they are working. While we think the world of work has been irrevocably changed forever, this survey aimed to find out if this is indeed true, and if so, in what way has it changed and most importantly what does this change mean to the Australian workforce.
